The dragging out of a most basic task

Melanie, Howard & Nick test for musicality in the dragging out of a most basic task via skipping CD bamboo saxophone loops, glass hiss loops & percussion, the making of dinosaur balloon animals, haloosi, dictaphone, whistles & flutes, screwdrivers, whisk & metals, singing & Casio SK1 and the time lag accumulator.

With thanks to Resonance 104.4FM's very own Tom Besley.

Test Transmission Information 01/03/2012

Tonight's Test Transmission commences at 23.00(G.M.T). BT Engineers on duty are the recently regular trio of NW, MC and HJ. Tonight's theme is 'Intermission' and they shall be filling the gap between the scheduled programmes with their impressions of the static motion and ambiance of the Intermission experience. Taking the organ melody from Monty Python and the Holy Grail intermission break and pondering the possibilities of minimalism repetition in extracting intriguing psychedelic from the mundane while deploying source materials gathered from archive cinema intermissions and the current enforced intermission of Occupy LSX. Alisdair McGregor is in London but it is unclear if he will be able to attend this Test Transmission at the time of publishing this posting.

Test Transmission Information 09/02/2012

Bermuda Triangle Test Transmission Broadcasts will commence at 23.00 (GMT) this evening on Resonance104.4fm (for the Central London region) and www.resonancefm.com on the interweb. Tonight's BT Engineers are MC, NW and HJ. They will be guided in their exploratory improvised and extemporised tests by the phrases 'The Apprehension of Cold', 'Crisps for Inspiration' and 'The Sound of the Missing Tooth'. Taking the theme of the cold weather and the Meteorological Office's latest weather warning for inspiration, a workshop piece called 'Snowfall' shall provide an underpinning five note piano exercise for rhythmically and sonically exploratory improvisation while snow and ice and cold recordings will be mixed in and processed to make a impressionist interpretation of the current cold weather conditions. It is snowing in Central London. I'm going outside for a bit. I may be a few hours.
